Job Details: RHEUMATOLOGIST

Description: SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO NEEDS A RHEUMATOLOGIST
Practice in the most wonderful part of the Land of Enchantment and revel in your professional and private life. At 7000 feet above sea level we have 4 distinct seasons and arguably the best weather in the USA. There is great skiing and hiking up the street, biking and wonderful opera, symphony and theatre. Of course the art scene is second to none.

We practice high quality rheumatology in a very relaxed and beautiful environment. Our practice essentially has no competition and we draw patients from as far as 200 miles away. We have a busy infusion center and teaching opportunities are readily available.

My practice is 13 years old and I am as busy as I want to be. A recent official survey paid by our hospital revealed that we are short one rheumatologist and possibly two. Although I am not offering a starting salary, I am willing to waive all overhead for 3 months and substantially reduced overhead for at least 3 more months. I have little doubt that a new rheumatologist would be quite busy within two months. There is no necessity to buy into the practice. I am intending to cut back my practice hours as soon as a new rheumatologist appears on the scene. A new rheumatologist may choose to work less than full-time and that would be quite acceptable to me. Night and weekend call is a "piece of cake".
