CancerCare of Maine (CCOM) provides comprehensive services in a state-of-the-art combined radiation and medical oncology facility at Eastern Maine Medical Center. We are certified by the ACOS/COC as a comprehensive community based program. In addition to nine medical oncologists and four radiation oncologists, our staff includes three nurse practitioners and one physician assistant, two physicists, and nurses certified in both radiation and medical oncology. Our research program participates in CALGB and NSABP, as well as industry sponsored prevention trials. EMMC is a 400-bed tertiary care center serving a population of 500,000.
