Description:
We seek a sixth board-certified/board-eligible
pediatrician to join our thriving hospital-employed
practice.
Our office is located in a modern facility
just five miles from the hospital. We offer a supportive,
collegial atmosphere, skilled staff, EMR, and a reasonable
call schedule. A new pediatric hospitalist program
will provide inpatient care support. Eastern Maine
Medical Center is the regional center for advanced
pediatric care. Services include level III NICU, PICU,
established pediatric sedation program, dedicated neonatal
care transport, and critical care air transport service.
A broad spectrum of pediatric sub-specialists is available
to provide consult support in areas such as cardiology,
gastroenterology, infectious disease, and hematology/oncology,
among others.
Bangor, an award-winning small
city, offers easy access to Maine's spectacular coast,
lakes, and mountains. Schools rank among New England's
best. The University of Maine's flagship campus is
located in neighboring Orono. Bangor is the regional
hub for medicine, the arts, and commerce.
