Title: Dermatopathologist, Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist, Private Practice Tagline: Partnership-track pathology opportunity Location: Bremerton, Washington Description: Join six other pathologists located at a rapidly growing community medical center. We are a well-established private pathology group with our own histology laboratory providing inpatient and outpatient services to the area clinicians. We also provide medical direction of the hospital clinical laboratory. Our annual caseload is approximately 18,000 surgicals, approximately 5000 of which are skin specimens. In addition, our practice receives 1300 non-gyn cytology specimens. Our autopsy volume is small, with approximately 10 non-forensic autopsies per year. Gross dissections and autopsies are performed by a staff PA under pathologist oversight. We are seeking a hardworking and entrepreneurial associate who is board certified/board eligible in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and in Dermatopathology. The successful candidate will have strong professional and interpersonal skills to practice all aspects of "general" anatomic and clinical pathology in a busy community practice and to provide excellent and interactive dermatopathologic diagnostic services to the clinicians in our area. Requirements include M.D. degree or equivalent, eligible for medical licensure in Washington State. This opportunity is partnership track and offers a competitive financial package with excellent income potential.
