System is seeking a Service Chief who is an adult psychiatrist
with expertise in the treatment of patients with co-occurring
disorders. Candidate should have experience in the
delivery of addiction services throughout the continuum
of care. Board certification is required. Subspecialty
fellowship training or sub-specialty certification
in addictions is highly preferred, as is recent experience
working on an inpatient unit and evidence of increasing
administrative responsibilities in a clinical setting.
Inpatient positions are always paired with partial
hospital to ensure continuity throughout the continuum
of care. Traditional outpatient or urgent assessment
evaluation services are also available as desired.
The Service Chief is the leader of the clinical
team and responsible for the quality of care and the
oversight of all clinical activities on the unit. The
Co-Occurring Unit is located in our new hospital on
Sheppard Pratt's main campus in Towson, Maryland, approximately
20 minutes north of the Inner Harbor in Baltimore.

Pratt is seeking psychiatrists with an orientation
to time effective treatment, sensitivity to referrers
and a focus on quality care in an academic setting.
Qualified candidates must possess a current license
to practice in Maryland at the time of appointment.
