Description: Internist for Adult Primary Care out patient clinics
Intermittent openings in Central and Southern Virginia near Richmond and Petersburg. I have a client in Virginia who operates primary care clinics in correctional settings. They need primary care physicians for long-term locums assignments. You can work 30-day assignments and extend as is mutually agreeable or book longer assignments. Many of these positions allow for transition to permanent placement if there is mutual interest between the client and the provider. These present good opportunities for exploring a career in correctional medicine. Correctional Medicine is a hassle free practice. You don't have to worry about call, hospital rounds, overhead, the office management, or the insurance and Medicare/Medicaid paper work. We work with single payers. They pay us and we pay you.
