Description:
USMD Hospital at Arlington, a physician-led
licensed acute care hospital, has an opening for a
Director of Pharmacy Services.
The Director of Pharmacy
Services will be responsible for all pharmacy related
responsibilities for this licensed acute care hospital.
This facility is primarily an outpatient/elective surgery
and short-term stay hospital. There is no ICU/NICU
or other high acuity patients.
This position
will oversee all medication orders, charge entry, consultation
with physicians, staff and patients, pyxis dispensing
system, policies and procedures, JCAHO/Dept. of Health
compliance, staff management and all other required
tasks to ensure excellent pharmacy services are provided.
This
is a great opportunity for the pharmacist who is seeking

environment.
The ideal person will be a BS/Pharm.D
with a Texas pharmacy license who has a minimum of
2 years of pharmacy management experience.
This
person will report to the hospital CFO.
