Description: Woodbridge Lab is seeking qualified candidates for a FT Medical Technologist.
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of laboratory tests using a variety of scientific instruments and manual procedures to aid physicians in the treatment, diagnosis, and prevention of illness.
Acts as an ambassador for patient relations by providing a positive first impression to patients, visitors, and others through their hospitable attitude and disposition.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, which includes successful completion of a supervised one-year clinical internship with certification is required.
- Approximately 6 to 12 months on -the-job experience necessary in order to become familiar with a variety of laboratory testing procedures. Become familiar with laboratory equipment and systems as well as attain proficiency in performing laboratory procedures.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with physicians, nursing personnel, and other clinicians.
- Analytical skills necessary in order to interpret and analyze tests, results and determine the appropriate course of action for abnormal or a typical results.
- Must relate same to normal health states and to presence of disease or other conditions, which may alter results.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for the majority of work time.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory information systems and computer software for registration program.
