Northwestern Pennsylvania opening for Pathologist
with skills in cytopathology, surgical pathology, and/or
blood banking.
Excellent opportunity for a Pathologist
interested in a community hospital setting. Pathologists
with cytopathology, surgical pathology, and/or blood
banking are preferred. The cytology department uses
liquid based collection system with computer assisted
screening technology.
Physicians applying for
this position must be University trained and either
board certified or board eligible in AP and CP. It
is important that candidates for this position have
an interest in laboratory management, demonstrate strong
leadership skills, and have had some experience in
medical staff affairs. The practice is located in a
newly constructed 189 bed community hospital with strong
ties to a major university health system. Collaborate
with two established pathologists as independent business
entity with option of partnership in a short period
of time. Good family community less than two hours
to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Erie. This site does
not qualify for visa candidates
