The Churchill Regional Health Authority is currently accepting resumes for one full time position as a Public Health Nurse/Home Care Nurse.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services & Chief Nursing Officer, the Public Health/Home Care Nurse will be responsible for promoting, protecting and preserving health of populations and is directed to communities, groups, families and individuals across their life span in a continuous process. In the Home Care function it is responsible for the provision of professional nursing care delivery within the home care program and to assign and oversee the work of the Home Support Worker.

QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Graduate of a recognized Bachelor of Nursing program or a graduate of a recognized nursing program with a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Current registration in good standing with CRNM or eligible for Manitoba Registration.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Minimum of five years recent nursing experience is required. Experience in public health/home care would be preferred.
• Must be able to encourage community, families' and individuals' ability to balance choices with social
responsibility to create a healthier future.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Work with communities, families and individuals to take responsibility for maintaining and/or
improving their health by increasing their knowledge, their control over and their influence on
health determinate.
• Must hold a Valid Manitoba Drivers License.
• Supervisory experience is an asset.
