Patient Service Associate Supervisor Phoenix, AZ Shaping the future through better healthcare. Arizona Pediatric Cardiology Consultants (APCC), a division of Pediatrix Medical Group (NYSE:PDX), provides physician services to fetal and pediatric patients with congenital heart disease. We have an opportunity in Phoenix, AZ for the following: Patient Service Associate Supervisor Under the direction of the Practice Manager, Medical Director, and Director of Operations and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Patient Service Associate Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of daily operations of the office team for their sites. The Supervisor has responsibility for coordinating the daily activities of the team, monitoring the work flow within the responsibility for coordinating the daily activities of the team, monitoring the work flow within the team, delegating and making work assignments, assuring appropriate training is maintained, assisting team members in problem resolution, providing reports of individual and team performance to the Practice Manager, and serving under the direction of the Practice Manager. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years recent experience in a related position in a medical office and supervisory experience in a medical office. Previous medical call center supervisory experience preferred. Must (1) possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with coworkers and physicians, (2) demonstrate an aptitude for medical terminology, office billing forms, insurance and government payer regulations and other third party billing requirements and (3) be able to work cooperatively in a team setting. Successful candidate should have analytical skills to review, compare and make decisions regarding personnel, staffing issues and the production environment as well as the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, to prioritize and organize daily work and to handle stressful situations.
