This Charlotte OBGYN client is looking to bring in an additional OBGYN doctor. The position is 4.5 days per week with call at 1:5. The practice currently handles about 45 births per month. The practice is located on the hospital campus. The patient base is large and the position offers a very competitive salary and benefits. The practice offers several childbirth education classes, including pain management classes, breastfeeding classes, Boot Camp for Dads and sibling classes. The NICU is a 15-bed, level IV unit and the nursery has 30 bassinets. Pediatric intensivists and pediatric specialists in the areas of Pediatric Neurology, Surgery, Endocrinology, Urology, Neurosurgical, Cardiology, pulmonology and Gastroenterology are caring for the NICU patients. The Family Center is one of the hospitals centers of excellence. Offering private labor, delivery and recovery rooms (LDRs) as well as private mother/baby rooms with sleeping accommodations for fathers or significant others, and the hallmark is mother/baby couplet care where the same nurse cares for the mothers and the babies.
