Large community based gastroenterology group seeks additional gastroenterologist for second office. Call would be one and five. When on call you do not have to participate in office or surgery clinics hours unless you prefer.

This group is currently working out of one hospital. They do have their own surgery center. The practice would like a physician candidate with EUS background but it is not a requirement. They divide the day into two sessions. Typical day is half a day in the office and half a day in the surgery center. Practicing doctors typically see 12-14 patients during a session in the office. The surgery sessions the doctors typically see 6-7 patients. When seeing patients in the second office you will go to the surgery center for your surgery session only. This practice also offers a clinical trials component as well.

The payor mix is about 25% Medicare, 2-3 percent medial assistant, and the rest managed care. There is no capitation. This partnership track job opportunity is a salary plus productivity based on charges derived from RVUs. The practice also offers a full benefits package.
