Description:
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is the largest
of the 4 not-for-profit hospitals in the Cottage Health
System. Nestled between the ocean and mountains, CHS
has 408 beds, making us the largest hospital system
on the central coast.
The main OR has an average
census of 700 patients per month. A wide variety of
procedures are performed with Neuro Service & Ortho
Spine Service being the largest caseload. The OR supports
a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and provides
an environment of learning and professional growth
for staff development. 10-hour or 8-hour shifts are
available.
CLINICAL NURSE COORDINATOR
Full
time evening position from 14:00-22:30 - no call, no
holidays and no weekends!
The CNC is the PM
shift daily operations coordinator - experience running
an OR schedule as charge nurse with strong circulating
skills is required. We appreciate a patient advocate
with excellent communication skills. This is a chance
to manage a high performing OR and build a team. You
will develop strong relationships with anesthesiologists,
surgeons and the nursing staff. Make a difference!
