Job Details: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)

Description: Applications are invited from individuals interested in applying for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) for the Churchill RHA Inc.
Reporting to the EMS Supervisor/Workplace Health and Safety Officer, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the ambulance services. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) will also act as a staff trainer, communications liaison with the community and work various special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Successful completion of a recognized EMT program and/or PCP program
• Training and experience as an EMT/PCP with 2/3 years of experience
• EMR Instructors Certificate preferred
• ACLS and BTLS Certification preferred
• Ability to be licensed under Manitoba Health
• Maintain professional linkage/networks with peers
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• General computer skills in Word Processing, PowerPoint and the Provincial Patient Care
• Reporting System
• Must hold a valid class 4 driver's license or capable of being licensed to Class 4
• Must pass a child abuse and criminal record check
