Job Description:

A rewarding and challenging position exist for a Clinical Dietitian with exceptional interpersonal, communication and organization skills to join our Clinical Dietetic Services team; to provide services for the Clinical Programmes. The successful candidate will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary care team and will initially be assigned to specific clinical areas. Areas of responsibility are reviewed and reassigned based on need, therefore the successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable with a strong interest in continuing growth and development. Must work harmoniously in a diverse and demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Providing nutrition screening and indepth nutritional assessment and analysis
• Developing nutritional care plans and support regimes for enteral and parenteral nutrition
• Providing ongoing monitoring and reassessing of nutritional care plans
• Assessing learning needs of patients, families, groups etc. and providing appropriate education
• Participating in ward rounds, patient care team meetings, relevant committees and continuing education

Qualifications:

• B.Sc Degree with a major in nutrition/dietetics or recognized equivalent
• Successful completion of Accredited Dietetic Internship Programme with clinical experience
• Must be registered in the country of training
• Minimum of 1 year post internship experience to include medical or surgical and nutritional support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition
• Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council Act.
