The Division of Gynecological Oncology of Aurora Medical Group seeks a BC/BE, GYN Oncologist to join Dr. Peter Johnson, Medical Director of GYN Oncology, in a busy and growing practice with a huge referral base. Based in Milwaukee at the Aurora Women's Pavilion, the practice offers the full spectrum of services to patients throughout the entire Aurora Health Care system servicing 75 communities in 20 counties and a draw area of nearly three million people. The practice provides comprehensive care of gynecological cancer for women with confirmed or suspected gynecological malignancies including outpatient assessment, inpatient care, and major operative procedures. The new physician will join a multi-disciplinary team of professionals who specialize in the care and treatment of women with GYN malignancies. Aurora Medical Group is also affiliated with the GOG with a clinical research program in place and supported by appropriate ancillary research personnel. Candidates interested in basic/translational research will find a receptive environment. In addition, teaching medical students, residents and the community will be an expectation as well as a faculty appointment with the Milwaukee Clinical Campus of the University of Wisconsin Medical School.
