are seeking physicians specializing in internal
medicine and family medicine to become part of
our medical staff. As an East Jefferson
General Hospital physician, you'll be part of the area's
largest open Medical Staff. Nearly 800 primary care
and specialist physicians provide the medical expertise
that has earned East Jefferson General the respect
of our community.
Our physicians have access
to the latest in diagnostic and treatment technologies
and are supported by a highly trained and certified
clinical staff. In 2002, East Jefferson General Hospital
was named Louisiana's first Magnet Hospital and in
2007, we re-certified as a Magnet Hospital. This is
