Description: Neurology Nurse Clinician
Neurology Nurse Clinician
1.Instructs staff in his/her specialty service
2.Works with OR Manager to develop teams of excellence
3.Assists in staff assignments to ensure competency and skill
4.Assists Director and Business Analyst with budget planning by advising service specific needs
5.Acts as liaison between the physician and staff
6.Seeks information regarding future trends specific to service
7.Reviews OR schedule in advance to prevent conflicts due to equipment supply and personnel limitation
8.Ensures that preference cards are updated
9.Assists management in developing methods to reduce inventory and promote cost containment
10.Assists the OR Manger in identifying educational needs of the staff
11.Provides inservices in specialty equipment
12.Assists in evaluation of OR staff and student competence through skills check off
13.Assists the Business Analyst or Materials Manager in special orders or implant information
14.Assists Biomedical Technologist with new equipment information
15.Contributes to management team goals through action as liaison and staff evaluation process
16.Assists the Coordinator in facilitation of the OR schedule as team leader

Qualifications:
1.Experienced operating room RN (minimum 1 year) with Georgia license for Registered Nurse
2.Demonstration of good business and communication skills
3.Basic computer skills required
4.Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
5.Ability to motivate others
