Description: Kidney Transplant Surgeon and Program Director opportunity
Spokane, Washington -- The Kidney Transplant Department at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane is seeking a seasoned surgeon with leadership skills and a transplant fellowship to be the new surgical program director. We need a physician with excellent surgical skills as well as leadership and marketing abilities; part of the new hire's role will be to expand the kidney transplant program throughout the region. Program has been active since 1981 and currently averages about 70 transplants per year; we will perform our 1,000th transplant in 2008. Excellent support staff and an active transplant clinic and outreach program. Position includes opportunity to participate in ongoing clinical research or develop new research initiatives.
