ED Staff Physician needed
Florida Hospital
Ormond is the flagship facility for the Florida Hospital-Memorial
Division, a 405-bed system of hospitals serving Volusia
and Flagler counties, including: Florida Hospital-Flagler,
Florida Hospital-Oceanside and Florida Hospital-Ormond
Memorial. This full-service community hospital has
205 beds and features a modern 28-bed Emergency Department
and 5-bed fast track. The Emergency Department has
an annual volume of 31,000 with daily coverage facilitating
an average patient-per-hour ratio of 1.8. The state-of-the-art
ED features computerized medical record/lab/x-ray tracking
with hand-held physician PDF's with finger-tip data
access and wide-screen as well as individual tracking
boards. Documentation system also incorporates T-System
and Script-RX.
The System is the first and
only JCAHO certified Primary Stroke Center and Accredited
Chest Pain Center in Volusia and Flagler counties.
This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of
a new addition to the community of Ormond Beach. To
meet the demands of a growing population, changing
demographics and an increase in emergency room visits,
Florida Hospital, Memorial Division embarked on a new
12-story, 245-bed replacement hospital in Ormond Beach.
The Emergency Department will expand by nearly 20,000
square feet and house 52 bays. Completion is scheduled
for 2009.
