The Department of Dermatology is seeking a BC/BE dermatologist with interest in basic science and clinical research for fulltime faculty position at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx, NY, a tertiary care facility and a major affiliate of Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. The James J Peters VA Medical Center is a teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology as well as education and research capabilities located in a safe and thriving neighborhood. Research at James J. Peters VAMC is world-renowned. Its investigators have been recognized for numerous noteworthy projects and they have received several national and international awards, including the Nobel Prize. Position provides equal opportunities to see patients in resident practice and to conduct basic science or clinical research in a state of the art facility. The resident practice at the Bronx VA Medical Center is an integral part of the dermatology training program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Individual will receive an academic appointment at Columbia University in addition to VA title. NYS license must be obtained prior to appointment.
