Position Profile

You will demonstrate your knowledge and expertise in providing pharmaceutical care according to standards established by the Scripps Pharmacies, to assigned group of patients. Within this position, you will review and evaluate individual drug orders for efficacy, safety and cost, document the care provided to patients supervise the drug distribution operations and routinely communicate with physicians, nurses and patients regarding drug delivery. As a team member, you will play an important role by collaborating with others and contributing toward our mission and values.
Basic Qualifications (required) Current California Pharmacist License. BS Pharmacy or Pharm.D Degree: formal clinical clerkship training or equivalent experience in hospital pharmacy: Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications Pharm D with a specialized/general practice. Residency or 2-3 years of hospital pharmacy experience. Pharmacy Residency preferred.
