Call: 1/4 ER Call with a stipend of $4,000, per month for 1 week of ER call, average 0-5 visits per day

Allen Health Systems in conjunction with Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner, are looking for a BC/BE Family Practitioner to join their hospital based clinic. The opportunity offers an extremely busy and established practice with a community eager to support local health care providers and replaces a physician that is moving to be closer to her family.

Recreation: Public and Semi-private golf course, outdoor tennis courts, parks, (new)outdoor swimming pool, fishing, hiking and biking trails, miniature golf, canoeing and tubing, and bowling alley.

Hospital: Community Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed, critical access facility with 4 active physicians on medical staff. Services offered include: cardiac rehab, psychiatric services, skilled nursing, family centered and pediatric services, 24-hour on call physician staffed emergency department, home health care, outpatient surgery, physical therapy, occupational, speech therapy, and volunteer paramedic level ambulance service. Several outpatient clinics offered, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Urology, Cardiology, and Opthamology, and General Surgery.

Nursing Homes: Hillcrest Nursing Home is a 90-bed facility across the street from the hospital.

Transportation: Waterloo has daily flights to Chicago, Minneapolis, and St. Louis.
