CLINICAL NURSE
III/NURSE EDUCATOR

We
currently have two opportunities available for a Clinical
Nurse III with a dual role of Nurse Educator. One opportunity
is available for our Same Day Surgery Center, the other
for our Main OR.
Responsibilities for this
dual role include assessing, planning, diagnosing and
implementation and evaluation of patients; coordinating
team collaboration and assignments; maintaining supplies
and equipment; evaluating and managing pain relief;
assisting physicians with procedures; and participating
in regulatory surveys. In addition, you will assess,
develop, implement and lead activities to maintain
and improve professional competence, develop and professionally
grow team members and evaluate all program outcomes.
Requires travel within the health system service area
using own transportation. Other duties as assigned.
Qualified
candidates will possess a minimum of two years specialization
in critical care, surgery, or PACU with one year of
leadership. Interpersonal skills, critical thinking
skills, and clinical skills appropriate for educator
role, are also necessary. A Bachelor's degree; experience
with adult and pediatric population; and ACLS/BLS instructor
preferred.
