as the Director of Rehab Services for Union County
Hospital in Anna, IL! Come join our team!
Reports
directly to Chief Executive Officer. Provide direct
management and control of the therapy departments to
include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Industrial
Rehabilitation Services, and Speech Pathology. Develop
budgets, analyze and control staffing requirements,
payroll authorizations, capital equipment acquisition,
marketing of services, customer service issues, quality
control, and licensure requirements. The Director of
Rehabilitation Services is responsible for overall
direction, utilization, supervision, instruction, and
evaluation of professional and supportive staff, volunteers,
and students utilized in the Rehabilitation Departments.
Additionally, the Director is responsible for the development,
implementation, and monitoring of all patient care
programs, plans for providing care, performance improvement
programs, policies and procedures, maintaining adequate
qualified and competent personnel, adequate space,
and adequate equipment to ensure a high degree of quality
patient care. The Director will also ensure effective
integration of the department/facility and operations
plan that compliment the organization's plans for continuous
performance improvement and the delivery of quality
patient care, and is accountable for the department's
Safety Program in order to reduce the number and severity
of employee injuries. To provide Physical Therapy services
under orders from physician following all department
policies and procedures as well as organizational policies
and procedures.
Education: Minimum Education,
Licensure/Required Course(s)/Training
• Bachelors
degree in healthcare related field or experiential
equivalent.
• Illinois State license as a
Physical or Occupational Therapist as required. Current
CPR Certification.
Experience:
Minimum Experience/Skills
•
Minimum of 1 year therapy experience in one or more
of the related therapy fields. Supervisory experience
preferred.
