DESCRIPTION: In this position, you'll function as an expert on the application of architectural/engineering knowledge to facility constructability as applied to construction methods and materials, and the economics involved. You'll also research, plan, design, direct and coordinate activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations and funding conditions. Responsibilities: • Conferring with organizational clients to assess needs and determine functional and spatial requirement for new structure or renovation. • Preparing information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, time frame and funding limitations; evaluating the impact of the project on the organization and the client's operations. • Preparing scaled drawings and contract documents for building contractors; creates unified design for organizational clients' review and approval. • Reviewing and approving technical design phases of project. • Administrating construction contracts and conducting periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans. • Inspecting, approving and accepting completed projects for the organization. REQUIREMENTS: Requirements: • Bachelor's degree
in Architecture required. • Minimum of 3 years'
recent experience at an architectural firm in
design, production and project management. • Minimum of2 years'
recent experience in large scale commercial projects,
preferably in the healthcare sector - hospitals,
medical office buildings, surgical centers, specialty
