Bay Area Medical Center is looking for a Risk
Management / Peer Review Manager to join our Quality
Improvement Team.
The Risk Management Manager will
collaborate with the Director of Performance Improvement
to plan, organize and coordinate all aspects of the
Risk Management Program and medical staff peer review
activities in accordance with the mission and strategic
goals of the organization, federal and state laws and
regulations and accreditation standards.
Will
assure compliance to the sentinel event policy and
processes, coordination and achievement of JCAHO patient
safety standards, and patient grievance processes.
Work in partnership with the Director of Performance
Improvement in planning, monitoring, and maintaining
and effective organizational Performance Improvement/Patient
Safety Plan. Must be able to complete the physical,
sensory and mental requirements of the position.

An
ideal candidate will possess a current Wisconsin RN
licensure and three years experience in an acute health
care environment. Three to five years of experience
in Risk Management/Quality Management with demonstrated
leadership skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities,
meet timelines, is accurate, pertinent, and concise.
Strong problem solving and process skills, project
management, teamwork, written and oral presentation
and communication skills are essential. Candidates
with a BSN, and/or CPRHM or Risk Management Specialist
candidates will be given preference.
