Ortho/Spine Clinical Coordinator - 03191-10445 ORTHO/SPINE CLINICAL COORDINATOR Experienced clinician who wants to make a difference in the care of a unique patient population requiring management of neck/spine disorders. The Ortho/Spine Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the following: 1. Provides education and support of orthopedic/spine staff for current, new and emerging technological procedures introduced into the service. 2. Oversight and management of Ortho/Spine surgical patients from pre-admission to post-discharge. This includes working with the orthopedic and spine surgeons when patient is first identified. Education of staff, patient, and families. Requirements for the position include: BSN/NP with current CO license. Master's preparation in relevant health care field preferred. Minimum of 5 years acute care experience with direct patient care responsibilities and two years Orthopedic/Spine surgical experience in clinical leadership role. Patient, family, and staff education. Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship building skills with the ability to work with a diverse multidisciplinary team including neuro and spine surgeons. Excellent computer skills required; experience in data collection, interpretation, and research. Ability to lead and support operational development, interdisciplinary team functioning and process improvement initiatives to achieve success in strategic goals. Please reply online.
