Description The Hyperbaric RN is responsible for the delivery of nursing care to the general hyperbaric population utilizing the nursing process. Special populations include vascular, wound care, delayed radiation tissue injury, carbon monoxide poisoning, thermal burns, necrotizing infections, osteomyelitis, decompression injury and acute gas embolism. Oversees and directs the care of UAP's and assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. Qualifications Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have 1 year of recent critical care experience and have current CO RN license and BLS. ACLS & PALS required within the first 6 months of hire. Special Qualifications: Ability to pass a diving medical exam.
