Description: NEW YORK CITY-- SOUTH BEACH PSYCHIATRIC CENTER, one of NYS OMH's newest, award-winning facilities, with In-Patient and Out-Patient services in Staten Island and Out-Patient Services in a number of neighborhoods in western Brooklyn, is presently seeking:
PSYCHIATRISTS

Adult Psychiatrists & Adolescent Psychiatrist: 4 positions available in our large department of 70 psychiatrists:

1 F/T In-Patient position, for General Adult Intermediate-Care, and
1 P/T In-Patient position for a bilingual Chinese-speaking Adult Psychiatrist,
Both at our Main Hospital on Seaview Avenue in Staten Island. As part of Multidisciplinary/Bilingual teams with Evidence-Based Practice of Medicine supported.
1 F/T In-Patient Adolescent Unit, also on Staten Island at our Main Campus, to work with an excellent multidisciplinary clinical team using DBT coupled with PEM model. Please note SBPC maintains an academic affiliation with St Vincent's Manhattan Child and Adolescent fellowship.

1 F/T Out-Patient bilingual Spanish-speaking Psychiatrist, BE/BC, to work in the multicultural Heights Hill Area of Brooklyn, within walking distance of BAM. To work with dedicated staff in an Out-Patient Department with various special programs, including a program for LGBT consumers, services for monolingual Spanish-speaking clients, and the possible development of a primary care clinic on-site.

NO mandatory on-call; EXTRA-SERVICE WORK available for extra pay.
