Description:
La Familia Medical Center is a community health
center with two sites in Santa Fe, New Mexico providing
medical and dental services, as well as Healthcare
for the Homeless and Health Education.
We are currently
staffed by 8 Family Physicians, 2 OB/GYN, 1 Hospitalist,
4 Family Nurse Practitioners and 2 Physician Assistants.
We provide obstetric services, full-service outpatient
services and run an inpatient service at the local
hospital.
We are the site of a 1 + 2 Residency
Program in which Family Practice Residents do their
first year at the University Hospital in Albuquerque
and then relocate to our clinic as home base for their
last two years. Staff physicians attend and precept
residents.
Candidates should be Family Practitioners
practicing OB, preferably be fluent in Spanish. They
must have CHC experience, preferably 3-5 years as a
medical director. The Medical Director of La Familia
Medical Center is under the general direction of the
CEO, and has primary responsibility for the clinical
medical operation of LFMC in accordance with federal,
state, and other administrative requirements. The incumbent
performs professional medical work and supervises all
the primary medical care delivered by LFMC medical
service providers.

CME stipend, license and membership fees are paid by
the company.
