Description:
La Familia Medical Center is a community health
center with two sites in Santa Fe, New Mexico providing
medical and dental services, as well as Healthcare
for the Homeless and Health Education.
We are currently
staffed by 8 Family Physicians, 2 OB/GYN, 1 Hospitalist,
4 Family Nurse Practitioners and 2 Physician Assistants.
We provide obstetric services, full-service outpatient
services and run an inpatient service at the local
hospital.
We are the site of a 1 + 2 Residency
Program in which Family Practice Residents do their
first year at the University Hospital in Albuquerque
and then relocate to our clinic as home base for their
last two years. Staff physicians attend and precept
residents.
Excellent benefits package including
health, dental, life, and LTD insurance coverage. Four
weeks of vacation, 10 sick days, 1 week of CME and
12 holidays per year are offered. Malpractice, CME
stipend, license and membership fees are paid by the
company.
In addition, Santa Fe is a beautiful,
small city at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains
with great outdoor and cultural opportunities.
