Salary Range
$30.80 - $40.43 (as per UNA Collective Agreement) Hours Of Work 19 x 7.75 hr shifts in a 4 week shift cycle (Evenings-current shift rotation provided for information only) Duties: As per Registered Nurse position description. Provides safe effective patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. Ensures transfer orders from acute care are received, and reviewed for accuracy. Assists in coordinating and obtaining any specialty equipment required for all new patients prior to arrival. Participates in multidisciplinary rehabilitative care plan for each patient. Qualifications: Current BLS Heart and Stroke certification required. Two years recent rehabilitation experience preferred. CNA Rehabilitation Certificate is preferred. In depth knowledge of Spinal Cord Injury and Stroke Rehabilitative nursing care is preferred. Excellent team, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills required. Responsible to provide proof of active registration with the College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) and to maintain registration throughout the duration of employment.
