Job Skills/Requirements
The staff on this 26 bed unit provides care to patients who have undergone vascular surgery such as peripheral bypass grafts, carotid artery endartarectomy, and abdominal aneurysm repair. Patients have continuous EKG monitoring by telemetry.

This unit is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist who mentors, role models, orients, educates, develops, coaches, and measures performance of other nurses on unit. Works principally in direct care role but assumes indirect clinical responsibility for quality patient care. Responsible for an environment conducive to mentoring staff and teaching students. Supports leadership role in relation to teaching/education and direct patient care.

Requirements
Graduation from accredited school of nursing and licensure and an RN in New York State. Currently hold a Masters Degree in Nursing with 2 years of experience in Masters level practice.
