Director-CVL & CDL Department: CARDIAC AND VASCULAR ADM Schedule: Full-Time Salary Range: LDRG09: $ 3559.20 - $ 4567.20 Bi-Weekly Shift: AM/PM Hours: Job Details: - Bachelors Degree 3-5 years Job Description: Works under supervision of the Executive/ Service Line Director for Cardiac & Vascular Services of Loma Linda University Medical Center. Directs the day-to-day operations of the Cardiovascular Labs (CVL), Cardiac Diagnostic Labs (CDL), and the LLUMC- Heart & Imaging Center in collaboration with the respective Medical Directors. Responsible for all CVL, CDL, and LLUMC- Heart & Imaging Center objectives related to customer service, financial performance, innovation and learning opportunities, and the internal business perspective that fulfills the needs of patients, physicians, and the strategic plan of the Medical Center. Serves as the CDL, CVL, and LLUMC- Heart & Imaging Center physician liaison for referring physicians. Collaborates with the Executive/ Service Line Director for Cardiac & Vascular Services in budget preparation, compliance, and program development, implementation, and evaluation. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Registered Nurse with Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or equivalent degree OR Registered CV Technologist, State of California, or Certified Cardiac Imaging Specialist with Bachelor's degree in Science and ability to obtain Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or equivalent within five years of hire. Four years in a cardiovascular diagnostic or cardiology intervention laboratory setting of responsibility. Five recent years in progressive management positions. One of the following California Registrations required: Registered Nurse State of California, Registered CV Technologist State of California, or Certified Cardiac Imaging Specialist. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Adult and Pediatric) is preferred. Knowledgeable in Cardiovascular Physiology. Working Knowledge of managed care organizations as relates to Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Intervention procedures. Traditionally, members of the audience bring blankets to sit on and a light dinner to enjoy before the Bowl performances begin. The Redlands and Inland Symphonies perform at concert halls within a 15-minute drive of the Loma Linda campus. Those who enjoy snow skiing have easy access to the San Bernardino Mountains, only 45 to 60 minutes to the north. During the spring, summer, and fall seasons, these forested mountains also provide first-rate hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, fishing, and rock climbing. Water-skiing and sailing are also an option at nearby Lake Arrowhead, Big Bear Lake, and Lake Perris. The golf courses, shopping, and spas of Palm Springs are a 60-minute drive to the east. World-class Mammoth Mountain resort is a six-hour drive to the north. The area around Loma Linda is a mountain biker's paradise. Miles of challenging trails are found in the unpopulated hills above the city of Loma Linda, within five minutes of campus. Other excellent mountain bike-riding areas can be found throughout the San Bernardino Mountain range a few miles to the north. Winters are clear and cool with spectacular views of snow-covered Mt. Baldy, Mt. San Bernardino, Mt. San Gorgonio, and Mt. San Jacinto. Temperatures rarely dip below 60o F on winter days. Summers are hot and dry, with temperatures ranging from 80o to 100o F on average.
