Reporting to
the Senior Vice President for Medical and Academic
Affairs, this outstanding leader will oversee all undergraduate,
graduate, and continuing medical education activities
at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, part of
Meridian Health, the shore's premier health system.
This highly versatile individual will work
closely with our Foundations to develop strategic plans
for academic philanthropy, and will also collaborate
with the Corporate Director of Clinical Research regarding
all research projects.
As a member of top management,
your impact will be critical as you regularly attend
medical school, local, regional and national meetings
related to medical education.
The inspired professional
we seek will be an experienced education leader (MD,
DO or PHD) with a minimum of 5 years as an Assistant
or Associate Dean, Division Chief/Director or Department
Chair at an academic institution (Medical School of
Academic Medical Center).
Experience in obtaining
funding and grants is desirable, as is the ability
to effectively articulate the value of medical education
in community hospital settings.
