Description:
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is a 408 bed,
not-for-profit teaching hospital located in beautiful
Santa Barbara, California. It is the flagship hospital
of Cottage Health System with affiliated hospitals
in the cities of Goleta and Santa Ynez.
The Chief
Clinical Dietitian plans, directs and evaluates the
work of clinical staff to include clinical dietitians,
diet technicians and dietary clerks to insure standards
of patient care and to maximize diet adherence. Functions
as a part of management staff and is responsible for
any programs related to the nutritional care of patients
including menu system development and nutritional care
objective. Will be a key player in developing a new
program for "room service" for patients. Requires a
minimum of four years experience as a clinical dietitian.
ADA Registration is required.
