Description: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Transplant Services has an immediate opening in our Hematology/Oncology division for an experienced Clinical Program Coordinator who will plan and coordinate all aspects of care for BMT transplant patients throughout the continuum of services, from initial referral to discharge planning. You will act as the primary coordinator of the interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, pharmacist, financial analysts, case managers, and support staff. Responsibilities: • Identify patients for divisional clinical trials, conduct clinical trials, including administration of medications, formulation of data collection tools, scheduling patient tests, completing case report forms, recall system and interaction with clinical research associates • Accurate data input for CIBMTR, and for Hematology/ Oncology clinical trials • Coordinate all facets of the SC/BMT processes, from initiating letters of medical necessity and coordinating the transplant, to patient discharge • Maintain clinical practice according to appropriate clinical pathways • Coordinate the development and maintenance of Hematology/Oncology, SC/BMT quality assurance and performance improvement programs. Qualifications: • Current CA RN license • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN required or Master's preferred • ONS certification preferred • Five years recent clinical and at least two years recent research experience in hematological/oncological malignancies, including bone marrow/stem cell transplant • One year of management experience • Full command, verbal and written, of the English language • Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
