Job Details: RN I-II - SMC Surgery

Responsibilities
1. RN I:
2. Implements and documents the Nursing Process for age specific patient care delivery.
3. Assists in performance improvement activities. Learns how to improve patient care and patients satisfaction. Achieves and maintains current knowledge of nursing practice.
4. Learns how to work as and become an active member of a team and develops leadership qualities.
5. Demonstrates professional growth and development, acquires and maintains clinical competency. RN II:
6. Implements and documents the Nursing Process for age specific patient care delivery to include the complex patient/family.
7. Participates in performance improvement/research activities. Participates in activities that promote improvement of patient care/patient satisfaction. Expands/shares knowledge of nursing practice.
8. Functions as an active team member and demonstrates leadership qualities.
9. Demonstrates and enhances professional growth and development, maintains and enhances clinical competency. Remains current in nursing practices.

Minimum Qualifications
RN I: Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program. Current registered nurse license to practice in the state of Texas. RN II: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current registered nurse license to practice in the state of Texas. Minimum 6 months experience.
