POSITION PROFILE

The Director will be responsible for the overall direction of all clinical laboratories within the system which include immunogenetics, blood bank, processing, cancer center, and histology with 284 FTEs, and 11 direct reports. The healthcare system completes over 5 million billable procedures per year. The professional will work closely with the medical directors in all modalities.

Qualified candidates will be motivated and collaborative master's prepared individuals with previous management experience within a complex laboratory.

Ideal candidates will be progressive leaders who are critical thinkers; focused on continuous improvement, and are willing to be a change agent. Academic medical center experience a must.
