Description: B.E. Smith, Inc., the nation's leading healthcare recruitment firm, has an outstanding opportunity available for a Director of Patient Financial Services with a client hospital in Vermont.
An excellent salary, commensurate with background and experience is available, in addition to relocation assistance.

POSITION

•Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer overseeing approximately 25 FTEs with the assistance of two managers
•Manages, directs and coordinates successful operations of the revenue cycle, billing, and collections. Active leader in hospital charge master committee and will assist the hospital with new information system selection.
•Qualified candidates must be collaborative, proactive, efficient and knowledgeable, change agents who have had exposure to hospital billing and revenue cycle management. Leadership experience and a bachelor's degree are preferred.

HOSPITAL

•This 188-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient medical services, as well as serving as the referral center for other area hospitals in need of additional care or emergency medical transport
•Provides preventive, diagnostic, acute and rehabilitative services, offering advanced technology in all aspects of care to portions of southern and central Vermont and communities in eastern New York State
•This Vermont hospital is the second-largest health care facility, with over 1,300 employees and a medical staff of nearly 210 physicians within 38 specialty areas
