Description: The community of Wilkie is seeking a full time Family Physician to add to a growing practice.


The Wilkie and District Health Foundation is currently working at the development of a new Physician's Clinic to be shared between the existing Physician and a new Practitioner. Further consideration will be give to an incentive package to meet the needs of the right applicant (cost of moving, exams, licensure, etc). Wilkie is a growing community in North Western Saskatchewan. Health services provided include general practice physicians who work in conjunction with other physician's in the Unity Primary Health Service area, allowing for weekend on call support and a team like atmosphere. The Wilkie Health Centre offers 24 hour emergency care, including EMS, RN and Physician coverage. The facility consists of 29 LTC beds and 5 program beds in a modern well maintained facility opened in 2000.
