Geisinger Health System, located in Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania seeks, a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to support growth in our anesthesia practice. Geisinger Health System has been experiencing dramatic growth in both the volume and subspecialty care provided by our Division of Anesthesiology. In the past five years, we have opened two ambulatory surgery centers and have added a third hospital to our system. This position is located on our Geisinger Medical Center campus Danville, PA.

The Division of Anesthesiology consists of 27 anesthesiologists and 5 pain physicians in Danville and Wilkes Barre, caring for more than 30,000 surgical patients and 8,000 pain patients annually.

Geisinger Medical Center

-403 (licensed) bed, Level 1 tertiary/quaternary care center that includes the Weis Center for Research, Janet Weis Children's Hospital, and Geisinger Center for Health Research.
-$100-million building expansion project underway that will include a nine-story, 300,000 square foot facility housing a heart hospital, including cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery services.
