Board Certified Primary Care Physician
A hospital located in Northeastern Pennsylvania is looking for a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician or a Board Certified Primary Care physician with a strong ER background for 7 months of coverage starting in July through the end of January. The schedule will be either 3 or 4, 10 hour shifts. The coverage is for a 252 bed hospital with no designated trauma. The annual ER volume is 30,000 and is mostly double covered. There are extenders that assist in the ER and serve like a fast track. ER physician does not do admits, paper charting is used and all specialists are available on call.
