Description:
Responsible for the operation of Bassett's
Enterprise's clinical applications.
• Responsibility
for operations includes coordination of support, development
and systems management. Systems management involves
change management coordination, security (in particular
as it relates to HIPAA), and resource monitoring and
reporting the development of specialized programs.
• Will have the responsibility for working
with our customers and vendors with the development
of cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation
of new or revised (upgrades) application systems and
programs.
• Assists in projecting software
and hardware requirements. Assigns personnel to various
projects and directs activities. Reviews and evaluates
work and prepares performance reports. Ensures that
his/hers direct reports are advised on administrative
policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities,
and methods.
• Will work within the Information
Technology Department's Management team to coordinate
all Clinical System projects/initiatives.
Requirements:
•
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
preferred with 5 to 7 years experience. An Associates
degree with 8 - 15 years of appropriate experience
will be considered.
• Project management/oversight
for implementation of Clinical systems. Preference
being McKesson Clinical and Image solutions (i.e. -
HRM). Other clinical systems experience with Meditech,
Cerner, Eclpsys, etc.
