Dear Physician: Kindly take the time to read the following information regarding Memorial Health Care System (MHCS) and the opportunity in pulmonary medicine that we have available with our organization. Opportunity: MHCS is offering an exceptional opportunity for a highly qualified, triple BC/BE pulmonary/critical care physician to join our group of 90+ hospital-employed multi-specialty physicians. We are seeking a physician who shares our vision, motivation and commitment to providing regional leadership in pulmonary medicine. The selected candidate will have access to our 405-bed hospital system with 58 state of the art MICU, CCU, and SICU beds. The Intensivist physician will join and work closely with our network of high quality and supportive, board certified, and fellowship-trained physicians in the fields of cardiology, radiology, surgical and medical oncology, cardiothoracic surgery, and pulmonology. Additional opportunities for involvement include participation in an active multi-disciplinary tumor board, pertinent administrative functions, and research. Practice duties will involve 100% inpatient pulmonary/critical care medicine, few hospital consults, and a minimum of 1 in 4 call responsibility. In addition to these duties, an opportunity to partner with our cardiothoracic surgeons, oncology specialists, Intensivists, and outpatient pulmonologists to develop, grow, and sustain a successful Lung Nodule Clinic is available.
