Description: The Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego is seeking candidates for a faculty position at the Associate or full Professor of Clinical Psychiatry level to function as the academic leader and as a clinical psychiatrist.
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego is seeking candidates for a faculty position at the Associate or full Professor of Clinical Psychiatry level to function as the academic leader and as a clinical psychiatrist at an academic outpatient clinic.

Those who apply should have strong demonstrated clinical, administrative and teaching expertise, and a track record of clinical research. In addition, they should have an interest in clinical program development, including training staff and treatment delivery.

Candidate must hold an M.D. degree and be board certified in psychiatry and possess or obtain California licensure. Candidates will be favored who have an excellent, documented track record of high quality, programmatic research, and success in the peer review process. Salary will be determined by the candidate's academic qualifications and achievements and based upon University of California pay scales.
