Description:
Exciting NEW opportunity for an experienced
practice administrator/physician group CEO with a growing
GI practice.
The Position • The Chief Executive
Officer is a newly created position for this growing
physician-owned gastroenterology practice with
five physicians and a new endoscopy facility with
two state-of-the-art endoscopy suites
• The CEO will be responsible
for all administrative operations of the practice,
as well as insurance contract negotiations
• Reports to the physician
board of directors
• Oversees approximately
40 full-time and part-time employees with two direct
reports
• Qualified candidates
will have a bachelor's degree; master's degree
preferred with a minimum five years in a leadership
role in a procedural-based physician practice
• Seeking a strong, collaborative
leader with excellent communication skills who
works well with physicians
The Organization • This progressive, physician-owned
gastroenterology group has been serving Hickory,
North Carolina since 1996 and is the only board
certified group in the region
• The practice provides
advanced evaluation of diseases of the esophagus,
stomach, small intestine, colon, pancreas, biliary
system and liver
• Procedures included
EGD, colonoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy, ERCPs,
biliary/pancreatic and video capsule endoscopy,
dual-probe PH studies and hydrogen breath testing
