St. Joseph Hospital is a 253-bed acute care trauma center with current opportunities for REGISTERED NURSE - Renal /Oncology/MEDICAL CARE UNIT.
• MCU is a busy 39-bed unit with a broad scope of practice.
• Enjoy the stimulation and challenge of being able to care for a variety of patients.
• Specialty population includes: rental, oncology and palliative/end-of-life care.
• MCU also cares for a variety of general medical patients that include: GI conditions, endocrine disorders, sepsis, wound care, and respiratory conditions.
• MCU provides a wealth of opportunity for developing a broad knowledge base and technical skill level along with growing your critical thinking ability
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Washington State RN license.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Nursing specialty certification preferred.
• At least one year of recent acute care medical/surgical/renal nursing experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Familiarity with current medications and treatments.
